The Mad Professor Mighty Red Distortion is a high-gain distortion pedal with a sound reminiscent of the compressed, rich distortion tones of the '80s . This pedal is designed for powerful, defined tones , with a wide gain range that allows you to go from subtle distortion to saturated lead tones.

Thanks to a very low-noise design , without a noise gate or expander, this pedal retains its purity and definition . You can also stack the Mighty Red Distortion with other pedals , such as an overdrive pedal up front, to create even more extreme and focused distortion tones.

The Presence knob lets you adjust the upper frequencies without affecting the upper midrange , providing flexible tone control.
