- Whether you choose the Grip-Lock™ tuning machines for maximum security or the lightweight classic style, the UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) makes installation a breeze.
- No special tools are required and you can easily return your guitar to its original condition, without any traces of the upgrade being visible.
- The standard tuning machines are suitable for guitars with 13/32" [10mm] heads.
- All tuning machines have a post length of .827" [21mm].
The included UMP™ for 3+3 heads fits guitars with 3 tuning machines on each side, with no drilling or special tools required.
Open-gear tuning machines have standard HS buttons, while closed-gear tuning machines are equipped with hex buttons. Numerous button options are available and easily interchangeable.
- Open gear tuning machines have a ratio of 18:1, while closed tuning machines are 15:1.
- The Grip-Lock™ option uses a pin and thumbwheel system to securely clamp your string, eliminating the need for winding.
- The Classic option uses a traditional, non-locking string post for weight savings on guitars with neck dive.
- The string post opening will accommodate strings up to .060".
- This product is covered by US and foreign patents and is made in Korea.
